St Mary's Sholing

RWA were appointment by the PCC to plan a strategy and to develop a scheme to Planning and Faculty submission stages in 2016. The purpose of this plan was to develop and set out an agreed strategy for the successful, safe, cost effective and timely delivery of a refurbishment, reordering and remodelling project to a historic church on an environmentally sensitive site. 

We developed a brief with the Church Community which proposed a new entrance presenting a welcoming embrace to the community, whilst unifying the enhanced hall gathering spaces and the church chancel, transept and nave to provide a coherent offer to both the congregation and wider community. Further proposals included reordering and distribution of the support spaces such as WCs, accessible WCs and a servery to maximum benefit.
