While working for Hampshire County Council we supported Reading Borough Council to select an existing city centre building for the relocate of its main office. The process started as a strategic appointment to select the appropriate building followed by the detailed design development and construction procurement.

We led the construction of the project from initial briefing through to delivery and completion. The council were supported to move from a much larger main building and multiple satellite offices into a smaller hub and reduced number of subsidiary offices. This transformed the way Reading Borough Council worked and provides it’s front line and back of house services. 

The building was converted from an existing office block to a multi function office hub creating reception areas, meeting rooms, support office areas, a council chamber, and a nursery amongst other functions.
