Middlebrook Centre

Rockliffe Williams were asked to take on the project initially to act as Contract Administrator, however, when the tender costs were returned a re-design of the procurement and detailed design approach were required.  We worked closely with the main contractor and their cost management team to get the cost and project back on track before administering the project on site.

The project was delivered on an extremely tight city centre site with multiple restrictions and licenses to be negotiated. The site compound was located on 6 car parking spaces rented from Winchester City Council and the building remained substantially in operation for the duration of the works.

Accommodation provided a new access corridor linking multiple spaces, stairs, lift and cafe. This has allowed the Church to operate its multi use spaces in isolation from each other and allowed much greater flexibility of out of hours uses.
